John Henry Oil is excited to be a part of America’s energy development. In addition to developing alternative energy sources, now more than ever America needs to continue to explore and develop its domestic oil and natural gas resources. Every barrel of crude oil discovered and produced in our country is one less barrel that must be imported. Every dollar invested with independent oil producers in this country is one less dollar invested abroad. By investing in the discovery and development of our own natural resources, we not only support and create more jobs for Americans, we gain more control over our economic future by reducing our dependence on foreign oil. All things considered, there has never been a better time to invest in the discovery and development of American Crude Oil!

John Henry Oil’s legacy spans three generations of “Oilmen” committed to the discovery and development of productive wells in the oil & natural gas fields of Kentucky and Tennessee. Our history dates back to the 1920s when my grandfather, John Henry Love, Sr., was a driller in some of the earliest exploration efforts in the State of Kentucky. My father, John Henry Love, Jr., went on to drill many successful wells during his 50-year career as an independent oil producer. One such well led to the discovery of the Greensburg Oil Field in the 1950s. It became one of the key fields that helped elevate Ashland Oil to the company we know today.

As a third generation independent oil producer, I am proud to carry on this rich legacy by continuing to discover and develop the oil & gas fields of Kentucky and Tennessee. At John Henry, the Oil Business is more than our passion; it is our way of life. We are a unique American Independent with a strong heritage and a strong future.
